Cancelling your Flex plan

Flex is built so you can leave whenever you like. No minimum term, no cancellation fee, no phone call, no "retention team". This page spells out exactly how it works, so you know what you're signing up to before you do. It forms part of our Terms of sale & service.

1. The short version

  • You can cancel anytime, from day one.
  • It takes a couple of clicks — about a minute, all online.
  • There is no cancellation feeand no notice period. You're never charged again after you cancel.
  • You keep everything you've paid for until the end of your billing month.

2. How to cancel

Two ways — both take effect immediately, pick whichever is easier:

  1. Self-serve (recommended): every Flex receipt and invoice email from Stripe includes a manage subscription link. Open it, click Cancel plan, confirm. Done — you'll get an email confirming the cancellation straight away.
  2. Email us: send a message to [PLACEHOLDER: support/contact email address] from the email address you ordered with, saying you want to cancel. No form of words needed — "please cancel my Flex plan" is plenty. We'll confirm by reply.

3. When it takes effect

Your plan runs until the end of the month you've already paid for, then simply stops. No further charges, no pro-rata fees. If you cancel five minutes after a renewal, you still get the full month you paid for.

4. What happens to your tag and profile

  • Your tag and your pet's profile stay fully live until the end of your paid-up billing month.
  • After that, the profile is paused, not deleted — your photos, medical notes and contact details are kept safe. Restart Flex anytime and everything comes straight back.
  • Prefer to keep the tag without a plan? Email us and we'll help you switch to a one-time purchase instead — [PLACEHOLDER: confirm switch-to-one-time terms, e.g. pay the one-time price less months already paid].
  • You keep the physical tags — we never ask for them back.

5. Your 14-day cooling-off period

On top of all this, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel within 14 days of signing up and get your money back — see Returns & cancellation for how returns and refunds work.

6. Bought one-time?

One-time purchases have nothing to cancel — there's no recurring charge. Your 14-day return right is covered in Returns & cancellation.
